As the fall weather begins to heighten, my excitement pours over. Not only is fall the perfect temperature weather but the fall fashion, for every style always intrigues and entices my eye. The one season where comfort is rarely sacrificed for style.

-- I have a thing for florals, black, faded nostalgic colors, deep fall reds and knee high socks, red lipstick, black jeans .... a few of the necessities I have in my life, all perfect for this fall.

This past sunday,  as I watched all the little girls and boys running off, playing dress up in their little sunday school outfits.... 

& while they played dress up, I played dress down. 

 Broke out my 90s vintage floral flannel,  and my favorite faded cut off jean shorts. 

Both,  favorite purchases I made this past spring at Goodwill.  

Hands down one of favorite stores... 

always cheap, always somewhat vintage and always alterable.

I have a constant need for new music, I could honestly spend hours just listening to music, browsing through various soundclouds, 8tracks playlists, spotify and pandora stations and gather a plethora of new tunes, only to aid my music addiction. 

I will admit I have a tendency to listen to certain genre, if you can call it a genre, could really be called a description, regardless it would be under --  chill electro indie nu wave funk music. 

-having always been the on the move type, my music seems to suit my fast paced stride and my love for beats that keep moving. don't get me wrong though, it's not as if i'm bumpin to techno//rave style all, day everyday. that's not what I'm going for. just a good beat and a good sound.

newest obsession || embroidered varsity jacket

This jacket is one of my favorite purchase I made while abroad this summer. Having had the opportunity to honestly shop internationally, I took damn good advantage of the opportunity...wether that's honestly a good or bad thing...not sure.

-- However, whilst browsing the shops along the cobblestone streets of Salzburg, Austria, I managed to find myself in one of my all time favorite stores... Zara. A place I fell in love with, back in the early days of high-school during my time in Madrid, Spain. 

Amongst the many sale items from the previous seasons collections, I found this, last one in the store and with one glance at this black and gold reversible & embroidered varsity jacket, I fell in love. 

An investment that will no doubt last a lifetime.

Guilty too have found myself back in Urban Outfitters, letting myself get drawn in by the music and smell of new boxes being opened with fresh new product ready to fill the shelves and hangers that are all throughout the store. 

I wasn't long before one could have found thumbing through the mens and womens graphic tees that were folded neatly, making the process all the more satisfyingly time wasting.

-- well worth the time wasted, as per usual, I went home with this new rose cross mens tee. a fantastic find that I within no time of being home,  made it into a loose tank. 

i'll be honest. i'm a bit obsessed with it.

Glad to be rocking these babies again. One of my greatest investments I made the beginning of freshman year. I've worn the ever loving shit out of these, but damn, they look sexy as ever.

With school beginning again, I have found the need to re-organize my life but more importantly, my closet. Shedding the less used clothing, making room for the new apparel that I am all too eager to wear as well as purchase. 

First day back in class I broke out my dr marten velvet black creepers, a shoe I have dearly missed during my past few months abroad. bless that reunion. 

If there is one thing I miss dearly about the living in the north, it's the fall. It seems to ease right in as soon as the school year begins... giving reason for shopping splurges, finding new items to add to your cold weather apparel. 

-Or the perfect weather for fall jackets, tights and all other fall accessories that, for obvious reasons,  just don't seem to be as popular in the south. Quite frankly, I could use some good city weather, filled with other fall fashion and weather hungry souls who often flock to the urban environment in order to satisfy their unoriginal yet all to common and guilty desire to be in the top of the socialite and fashion world. 

But lets face the reality, not even half of the people who have this dream, have enough hunger to make it happen. the ones who do, are a part of that world because they never let that hunger or their passion, whatever that may be, die or become less important throughout the entire journey. 

So on that note, with school in session and a slow fall rolling in, I'll end with this, invest in some shoes you'll love to wear  and others will kill to have during this fall, for whatever type of weather resides in your hood.
